The role 

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join our App and Web team. Our mission is to build the core capabilities that give patients a world-class experience while enabling our content editors to create high-quality, impactful content. 

What you will do  
Our challenge for you 

• Engage with cross-functional teams spanning design, development, product management, and data analysis to build impactful full-stack solutions that drive healthcare forward.
• Contribute to building and optimizing both client-side and server-side features for our applications, prioritizing seamless usability and clean APIs.
• Conduct code review process, develop comprehensive tests, and ensure software excellence through iterative improvements.
• Handle infrastructure setup and deployment pipelines with AWS, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Actively engage in technical discussions and information-sharing sessions to support solution optimization.
• Participate in an agile, lightweight Scrum process focused on optimizing tools and workflows to ensure a productive and engaging work environment.
• Is some of this new to you? That’s OK! We believe that great engineer can pick up new technologies quickly and we provide support to learn on the job. 

Who you are  
Your profile and skills 

• Experience working with Java and React (Kotlin is a bonus).
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS. 
• Strong understanding of developing cloud-based applications (AWS, Terraform).
• You have experience with web and/or mobile facing clients.
• You have worked in an agile environment using scrum.
• You want to change the healthcare system by using your passion for tech.
• You like the idea of working in a fast-moving environment.
• You are confident working on a range of languages and frameworks and can quickly adapt to new ones.
• You are familiar with development tools and concepts such as Git and continuous integration/delivery.
• Comfortable working in the English language (written and verbal).

It is not essential to have all these skills, but an aptitude and willingness to develop those you don’t know is key.
