Communications Specialist

KRY is looking for a strong Communications Specialist to join our Communications team in Stockholm. In this role you will be in charge of planning and implementing strategic and tactical communications and relationship campaigns targeting a range of stakeholders, such as the Swedish healthcare community (care providers, industry associations, unions, patient organisations) and the broader public. You will be tasked with shaping the perception and reputation of KRY and digital healthcare providers at large through effective stakeholder education. 

You have experience of communications and public affairs with a proven track record of developing powerful communications plans and executing them with speed and precision. You can see the big picture and love rolling up your sleeves organising stakeholder events, writing articles and opinion pieces, contacting external stakeholders and coordinating projects. You thrive in a fast-moving environment under high media scrutiny and love to take on the challenge of taking KRYs corporate reputation in Sweden to the next level. 

This is a temporary position of 10 months to cover for parental leave. There will likely be an opportunity to transition into a full time position at the end of the contract.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and execute communications and public affairs plans and activities
  • Ensure timely and consistent execution of multiple, simultaneous project plans and schedules, working with cross‐functional teams
  • Develop detailed project plans and oversee workflow, tasks and deadlines across project management systems to monitor and track progress on all projects
  • Together with senior management, coordinate forums and networks of healthcare professionals and industry experts to act as thought leaders and communicators on behalf of the company or industry at large
  • Contribute to and oversee communications content production and distribution through mostly owned and earned channels
  • Plan and coordinate events and meetings with key stakeholder groups and manage the company’s events and public speaking plan

Who you are

  • You have 2-3 years experience of working with communication and public affairs projects, as well as implementing PR strategies
  • You are an excellent writer, both in Swedish and in English
  • You are a sharp thinker and fast-learner with an action oriented mindset and a drive to make things happen
  • You have the ability to manage various projects at once in an ever-changing environment, while working well with and inspiring cross-functional teams
  • You are great at building strong relationships both internal and external
  • You have great attention to detail
  • You are courageous and passionately determined to reach set goals
  • You strive for continuous improvement and being the best
