We are now looking for an exceptional Director Business Development to join our fast-growing Swedish team. You will be responsible for growing and developing the company’s market share and revenues within defined verticals. Directly managing a team of business developers and project managers, you will be charged with establishing strong payer and partner relationships across the Swedish healthcare system, and you will identify, scope and build high-growth, scalable healthcare businesses and operations.
You are an expert deal-maker and executor who efficiently converts a promising opportunity into fully operational businesses. You have an outstanding track record of leading large complex projects and partnerships, and execute through cross-functional teams with an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills. You are an excellent people manager who leads with inspiration and integrity, and you have a great toolbox for making every team and individual perform at their absolute best. You see the big picture and think strategically, but you also love to roll up your sleeves and hustle.
What you’ll do:
Identify, close, operationalise and scale new business opportunities in the Swedish healthcare system to meet ambitious targets and KPIs
Directly lead a team of business developers, project managers and other commercial resources with dedication, drive, integrity and accountability
Indirectly lead cross-functional resources across product, marketing, operations and quality, legal and others through effective process, communications and teamwork
Build and develop relationships at all levels and functions with our partners and converting into customer (patient) value, growth and revenue
Negotiate and close deals at senior management and executive level, and ensure successful deal implementation at all operational levels and functions
Who you are and skills you have:
You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar and > 5 years of experience working in business development, a strategic role in a startup or as a management consultant (or a combination thereof)
Organized, entrepreneurial self-starter, who quickly identifies what needs to get done, prioritize and focus on execution
You thrive in a fast-paced environment
Moreover, you have:
Extensive existing network and contacts in the Swedish healthcare market
Understanding of regulated industries and the role of policy and public affairs in business development
Strong presentation skills, including sales pitches and delivering these to mid-management and executives
Strong project management skills
You will report to the Managing Director Sweden and will be based in our Stockholm office.
